I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Glasgow and working out of Glasgow Independent Studio in Trongate 103. I trained in Fine Art drawing and Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, and completed my Masters of Fine Art in Belfast College of Art.

The importance of the signature mark plays a big factor in my own and also in my community led work. It influences the foundation stages of any art I produce, on my own or in collaboration with others, and it is something I strive to help people find in any outreach or community led work I am involved with.

My work is made in a responsive manner to themes and my way of making my work often changes as a result to this.  A recurring theme in my work is one of value and disregard, and the power to place this emphasis. Referencing current and social issues past to present with tangible links between human and object, placing onus and narrative on the inanimate. Themes focus in particular in times and circumstance where this value has been placed or taken away.
